International Federation of Technical Analysts – IFTA: The International Federation of Technical Analysts was incorporated in 1986 and is a global organization of market analysis societies and associations. IFTA is an international non-profit professional organization with member societies in more than 26 countries. The International Federation of Technical Analysts offers certification to Professional Technical Analysts around the world. TREND – For Consulting, Training & Exhibition Organizing: TREND is Egypt’s first destination to provide comprehensive “Investment Information and Decision Support Services’ for the capital market investors. Because of the high demand on the ESTA Professional Program, the ESTA reached an agreement with "Trend" a few years ago to organize a course in the Cairo Int'l Conference Center. At the end of this course an exam is offered to candidates, and the best 40 grades are eligible to continue in our Professional Program. The ESTA/Trend Level 1 course in the Cairo Int'l conference center took place three times, with a total of around 2200 attendees. The next course will take place in November. ESTA/Trend Level 2 took place during August 2008, with around 400 attendees and the best 15 grades will be eligible to enter our professional program. A deal has been made too with "Trend" to teach specialized courses for candidates who have a good understanding of Technical Analysis and who only want to learn about a certain school in this field, i.e. A specialized course in Elliott Wave, A specialized course in candlesticks, etc… Faculty of Economics & Political Science – Cairo University: The Society succeeded in introducing Technical Analysis in the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University as a mandatory subject to be taught in the third grade. Candidates in Economics will be taught Technical Analysis as a part of their studies. This is a step that we succeeded to reach with the faculty, and we are expecting that more faculties and more Universities will begin to approach us to introduce Technical Analysis to their syllabus. Union of Arab Banks – UAB: The Union of Arab Banks was formed on March 13, 1974, under the umbrella of the Arab Administrative Development Organization. The Union is seeking to be the main and true support for the Arab common economic practice, and the corner stone in the process of building and developing banking cooperation for the benefit of economic, financial, and banking development in the Arab world. The Egyptian Society of Technical Analysts finalized a partnership agreement with the UAB; courses or conferences that include technical analysis will be done in co-operation with ESTA. Our members have 75% discount on these conferences. Egyptian Banking Institute ESTA is also finalizing a deal with the Egyptian Banking Institute to teach courses in Technical Analysis for Bankers and financial analysts who work in the field. Egyptian Investment Management Association – EIMA: The Egyptian Investment Management Association (EIMA) is an Egyptian Professional Association established in 2000 to represent Asset & Investment Management companies active in the Egyptian Capital Market. EIMA has been designated by the Egyptian Capital Market Authority (CMA) the SRO responsible for establishing standards of conduct fro Asset Managers in Egypt and to help resolve disputes related to the application of these standards. The Egyptian society of Technical Analysts is responsible for teaching the Technical Analysis part in the CPM program. American University in Cairo – AUC (Citadel Capital Financial Center): AUC’s Citadel Capital Financial Services Center (CCFC), the first financial training and consulting center in the Middle East, opened its doors to students, researchers and finance professionals in November 2006. ESTA In-House courses tailored for institutions are done at Citadel Financial Center in the AUC. |
