 The Egyptian Society of Technical Analysts (ESTA) is the first professional technical analysis society in the Middle East. 

 ESTA is a non-profit organization & was established in year 2000. Its main aim is to disseminate & teach the science of technical analysis all around Egypt. And that's why ESTA has a lot of integrations with different local & international Partners  to achieve this goal.

• CETA is now equivalent to CFTe

(8-3-2010) ESTA is pleased to announce that the international Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA) has approved the certificate of the ESTA professional program CETA to be equivalent to the international Certificate CFTe of the international Federation.

•  CETA level 1 has been started since May 23, 2011 every week on Monday and Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.. The Exam is estimated to be on the 22nd of October, 2011.
  
• CETA level 2  has been started since May 24, 2011 every week on Tuesday  from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.. The Exam is estimated to be on the 17th of March, 2012.
  
• CETA level 3 has been started since May 26, 2011 every week on Thursday  from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.. The Exam is estimated to be on the 24th of March, 2012.
  

•  (15-4-2010) Emphasizing Quotes Support & Resistance levels using Price by Volume Technique - Application on the Egyptian stock Market 

It is an excellent research provided by "Mr. Abd El Aziz Al boghdady" & "Mr. Khaled Khalil Assy" – ESTA members – it is a practical application analysis on the Egyptian stock market using the Price by Volume Technique. This research was selected by the research committee as the best research provided in the ESTA competition held in year 2009 & was awarded by The Egyptian Society of Technical analysts (ESTA) in its last half yearly meeting in the International Conference Center. 

Abd El Aziz has a master of science in Business Information Technology – Middlesex University, London. He has also succeeded in the first level of the Certification of Chartered Market Technician (CMT1). He is a weekly periodic writer in El Alam El Yoom financial newspaper & he appears frequently in many stock market programs like OTV – Nile TV & OnTV.

 Portfolio Indicator is an interesting & very clever indicator created by "Mr.Khaled Sohail El-Zaben" – ESTA member - its main aim is to maintain discipline & evaluate our own portfolio performance relative to the market performance. 

Khaled Sohail main education was Avionics Engineer & he is a CETA 2 candidate & he has a very good experience in the French stock market since year 2000 & in the Egyptian stock market since year 2007.

It is a very good piece of work provided by "Mr. Rimon Edward"– ESTA member – it is an explanation of some support & resistance trading tactics & with the confirmation of other indicators & oscillators. And in this paper there is also an application on the Egyptian stock market.

Rimon holds a bachelor of commerce from Alexandria University, accounting department. Rimon is a CFTe holder & he works in the investment department in a brokerage company in Alexandria. Rimon took the first prize around the world in the IFC Markets competition in trading Forex.
